Objectives and Mission
Radio Québec International (RQI) is an Internet radio station (webradio) launched in the summer of 2016. It aims to promote and broadcast Quebec artists (known and unknown) who have made a career both in Quebec and abroad and have contributed their sounds, words and music to our universal musical heritage.
Far from the objectives of Top 40 stations, RQI aims to be different in its programming, as it seeks not only to entertain, but also to introduce its listeners to a diversity of works too often forgotten in our collective memory. To this end, RQI will broadcast (without exception) all musical styles and genres from 1900 to the 2000s.
